Paris, décembre 1897. Le jeune Edmond Rostand propose à Constant Coquelin, le célèbre acteur, une pièce nouvelle, en vers, une comédie héroïque, pour les fêtes... Seul problème : elle n'est pas encore écrite ! Il n'a pour l'instant que le titre : « Cyrano de Bergerac ».
